Guide explaining a golden religious statue in a church setting.

At exactly 1:13 PM on October 14, 1975, an RAF Vulcan Bomber exploded over the residential heart of Zabbar. While the crash caused an "Inferno" on the ground, the residents saw a "Devotion" moment that they believe saved their city from destruction.

Experience the only tour in Malta dedicated to the historic 1975 Vulcan Bomber crash. Led by a local born-and-bred guide, a licensed tour guide, you'll walk the "Inferno" path where an RAF Avro Vulcan Bomber crashed on residential streets and discover the "Devotion" of a community that saw a miracle in the tragedy. Includes exclusive entry to the Zabbar Sanctuary Museum to see actual aircraft remains.

What You’ll Do:

  • Walk the Path of the Vulcan: Visit Sanctuary Street, where an aircraft wing fell between houses, and see the unique architectural repairs funded by the RAF.
  • Hear the Human Story: Learn about the crew and the local victims, like Vincenza Zammit, whose lives were changed in a single afternoon.
  • Visit the venerated statue of Our Lady of Graces within the Baroque Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces, the spiritual heart of the community's recovery.
  • End your journey at the Ĺ»abbar Sanctuary Museum, Malta’s first purpose-built museum, to see actual wreckage, engine parts, and historical photographs.
